How does YourCall work? Once you end your telephone conversation, YourCall will show a dialogue which prompts you to take an action.
YourCall helps you with 4 easy-to-access, "thumb sized" actions: (Depending on whether the contact is known or not)
- View Contact Card - View contact's detailed information
- Create a Contact - Create a new contact from the received phone number
- Add to Contact - Adds the received phone number to a current contact
- Add to Journal - Adds the contact or phone number to your journal
- Call Back - Calls the number back
- Send SMS - Sends SMS to the number or contact
- Take no action - Exits the YourCall dialogue

- Create a meeting - Schedules a meeting with the contact
- Create a task - Creates a new task which links to the contact
- Create a memo - Creates a memo which links to the contact
- Send E-Mail - Sends an email to the contact
- Send SMS - Sends a text message to the contact
- Call back - Calls the contact back. (If the contact has multiple numbers, click "show dialog" to select a different number to call)
- Web Reverse Lookup - Looks up the phone number via web service
Once an action is selected, YourCall automatically fills in the appropriate telephone number, contact, length of correspondence, end time, and the date the call took place. From there, you can fill in the extra details. Don't have time to fill in all appropriate details? Create a place holder to gather your thoughts before they fly away. Once you have time to reflect, you can revise the descriptions at your own pace.
Features in Detail
YourCall has additional features to help you organize and personalize. These functionalities are available when you open YourCall under your list of programs.
- Past Calls List: Similar to your built-in call log but additionally allows you to recall the YourCall dialog for any past or missed calls.
- Contact Exceptions: Choose which contact to bypass the YourCall dialog so it does not alert you in the future when this contact calls.
- Number Exceptions: Make exceptions for specific numbers to bypass the YourCall dialog. Useful when a contact has multiple numbers.
- Contact Category Exceptions: Allows you to set a category in your contacts, i.e. personal or business, as an exception.
- You can customize your exceptions to handle number patterns using (*) for multiple digits or (?) for single digits.
- Call Log Refresh Tool: Syncs your call log with your contact list to refect latest changes in the contact database.
- Disable YourCall: Turn YourCall off so it doesn't alert you during resting hours.
- Personalize Options: Personalize which application YourCall will use to perform follow-up actions.
